Want to make a difference in someone's life? Looking for a PT schedule working 18-24 hours / week? You would be working with adult individuals with developmental disabilities that live in their own homes in Thurston County. Caregiving experience helpful but not necessary! We provide 75 hours of paid training by experienced staff (All training is done during the daytime on Zoom- must be able to access and use Zoom).
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting / personal hygiene
- Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe
- Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals / snacks
- Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments
- Accompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)
- Assist individuals with self-administration of medications
- Document services provided using computer
