Want to make a difference in someone's life? Looking for a PT schedule working 18-24 hours / week? You would be working with adult individuals with developmental disabilities that live in their own homes in Thurston County. Caregiving experience helpful but not necessary! We provide 75 hours of paid training by experienced staff (All training is done during the daytime on Zoom- must be able to access and use Zoom).

Key Responsibilities

Assisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting / personal hygiene
Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe
Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals / snacks
Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments
Accompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)
Assist individuals with self-administration of medications
Document services provided using computer

$20.50 / hour

Know your schedule for the month-easy to plan work / life balance

PT Day shift 18-24 hours / week

FT Day shift 24-32 hrs / week

Work a 2 day on / 2day off / every other weekend shift

75 Hours of Paid Caregiver training

Be at least 18 Years or older

Be able to pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check and complete fingerprints by hire date

Be able to provide high school diploma or high school transcript or GED

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, turn, sit, stand for periods of time, see and hear our individuals

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Have basic computer skills

Have good problem solving skills working as a team
