Key Responsibilities
Process and monitor unpaid third-party insurance accounts for proper reimbursement
Prepare and submit claims to payers, securing necessary medical documentation and performing follow-ups on outstanding balances
Resolve denials and low payment accounts, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
Required Qualifications and Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary or trade courses in accounting, business, or communications are helpful
Six months of related work experience required
Essential computer skills are necessary for the position
Leadership may require related experience for internal applicants
