Overview

Freelance Game Capture Artist at Trailer Park Group (Dark Burn Creative). This on-site role is based in Woodland Hills, California, and involves working with our creative team to capture and produce gameplay footage for promotional content.

Get paid to play video games and help create epic gameplay trailer footage.

Note : This position requires on-site / in-office work in Woodland Hills, California.

What you will do in this role

  • Get paid to play video games.
  • Provide feedback for the game and check for bugs.
  • Quality control related to game content and continuity.
  • Report and communicate bugs with the Gaming Development Team.
  • Capture and save incredible gameplay moments.
  • Craft precise shot lists detailing great gameplay sequences, camera angles, and unique elements.

About you

  • You’re a walking encyclopedia on all things video games and you LOVE playing those games.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and love pointing out inconsistencies in sports or game play by plays.
  • You have experience with at least one of the following : Photography, Cinematography, or Digital Art.
  • You are proficient with PC skills and familiar with popular mainstream gaming consoles (Xbox, PS5, Nintendo Switch, etc.).
  • Your communication and time management skills are excellent.
  • You're a positive influence in the workplace and a great team member.
  • 1 year of game capture experience is preferred.
