Rehabilitation Aide

The Rehabilitation Aide will assist the Patient Experience Coordinator and clinicians by performing requested administrative and clinical duties. They will greet patients as they arrive to the clinic and work alongside the physical therapists as well as the physical therapist assistants during patient treatment. These duties will be conducted in compliance with state practice act requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include : preparing patients for physical therapy treatments, safeguarding, motivating, and assisting patients practicing exercises, providing routine treatments, cleaning work area and equipment, washing linens / towels, maintaining restrooms, assisting patient experience coordinator, and keeping track of supplies.
Qualifications include : high school graduate and or intern preferred, previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to clearly document, attention to detail, patient / client satisfaction, energetic and a team player, able to demonstrate compassion, complete tasks thoroughly, and basic knowledge of office equipment.
Language Skills include : ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
Physical Demands include : specific vision requirements, ability to talk, hear, fulfill office activities, stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, occasionally lift and / or move up to 20-25 pounds, and fine hand manipulation.
Work Environment includes : internal office and usually low noise level.

Salaried ranges listed are for full time (40 hour) employees. Additional pay such as incentive, GAP, overtime, and stipends are subject to the rules of each program and may not be available in all locations. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties / requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
