- Provide direct patient care : assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document needs\n
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams for coordinated care\n
- Conduct assessments and document findings\n
- Follow protocols and standards of care\n
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed\n
- Identify and address patient and family learning and discharge needs\n
- Evaluate patient progress and document accordingly\n
- Respond effectively in emergency situations\n
- Delegate tasks based on competency levels\n
- Supervise LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel\n
- Lead communication and validation of patient care\n
- Assist with procedures and treatments as needed\n
- Complete training and competency requirements\n
- Demonstrate required psychomotor skills\n
- Mentor new staff and students\n
- Maintain professional responsibility and clinical standards\n
- Incorporate organization's mission into caregiving activities\n
- Support governance and care delivery models\n
- Assume leadership roles when required\n
- Meet professional requirements such as training, dress code, documentation, communication, and attendance\n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives\n
