Director of Agency Sales & Field Strategy

Location : Remote / Regional Travel

Salary Range : $120K–$150K base + bonus (DOE)

Location : Remote – Based in TX, FL, GA, NC, IL, or nearby regional hub (Travel Required)

Position Overview

The Director of Agency Sales & Field Strategy is a pivotal role responsible for driving regional expansion, optimizing agency partnerships, and achieving sustainable sales growth . This position demands a strategic thinker who excels in building relationships, aligning cross-functional teams, and executing go-to-market plans.

This is not a traditional corporate role; it's about being in the field, understanding the nuances of each territory, and empowering agency partners to succeed.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has a proven track record of managing multi-state sales agency relationships and driving performance
  • Demonstrates the ability to develop and execute regional GTM strategies with tangible outcomes
  • Excels in cross-functional collaboration , bringing clarity and structure to complex initiatives
  • Is a proactive communicator, energized by fieldwork and direct engagement with partners
  • Takes full ownership of performance metrics and is committed to continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a 3–5 year regional growth strategy
  • Serve as the primary liaison to independent sales agencies
  • Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews to assess and drive performance
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and service teams to support execution
  • Optimize deployment of sales support (e.g., BDRs) across agencies
  • Lead training, onboarding, and development for agency partners
  • Manage and evolve agency incentive programs to align with strategy
  • Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in sales, channel management, or regional business development
  • Experience managing multi-state sales teams or partner networks
  • Strong background in territory development and strategic planning
  • Clear and confident communicator; able to align cross-functional teams
  • Willing to travel regularly and meet field partners face-to-face
  • Proficient in using data and KPIs to drive insights and accountability

  • Proven experience managing independent sales agencies
  • Track record of executing regional growth or GTM strategies
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Comfortable with travel and field-based partner work
