Position : TS / SCI ELINT Systems Engineer

Location : Greenville, TX (Dallas-metro area)

Schedule : 9x80 (every other Friday off)

Interview Process : One-round panel interview

Anticipated Start Date : 2–3 weeks from hire

Salary Ranges

  • Level 3 (BS + 4 years of experience) : $79,000 – $146,000 (~ Midpoint : $112,000 )
  • Level 4 (BS + 8 years of experience) : $90,000 – $168,000 (~ Midpoint : $129,000 )

Relocation : Premiums offered for candidates outside a 100-mile radius of Greenville, TX

About the Program

Insight Global is partnering with a leading global aerospace and defense technology company to recruit professionals for several permanently funded programs. These initiatives support Internal Research and Development (IR&D) and provide technical operational support for airborne and ground-based systems, serving critical U.S. national security missions. The focus is on equipping aircraft with advanced sensors, radars, and antennas to enhance detection capabilities during Air Force operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

The ELINT Systems Engineer will help design and develop complex ELINT hardware / software systems that process ISR data from multiple sources. Responsibilities include :

  • Designing and implementing new system functionality with customer collaboration
  • Writing requirements and supporting software development / testing in SILs and on airborne / ground platforms
  • Verifying new baseline functionality while maintaining legacy system performance
  • Interfacing with Systems Engineers, Agile Development, Flight Line Test, Product Development, and Project Engineering teams
  • Supporting IR&D efforts to develop proprietary ELINT technologies
  • Documenting system testing status and anomalies, and verifying fixes
  • Providing regular status updates to management and customers
  • Managing schedules and budgets for assigned work

    • Must-Have Qualifications

  • Active TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
  • 4-8+ years of experience with SIGINT or ELINT systems
  • Former military experience as an operator, analyst, technician, or mechanic of ELINT systems
  • Experience transitioning from military ISR operations into engineering roles
  • Proven ability to define requirements, conduct system testing, and collaborate cross-functionally
