NBG Product Group Technology- Project Manager

Nucor Buildings Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to be part of our Group Services Team focused on innovation and creating cutting-edge building construction products and services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of guiding cross-functional teams through complex projects, employing different methodologies for problem solving, and delivering high-quality results on time. This role will be integral to driving innovation, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and enabling the success of the team and the organization.

Basic Job Functions :

• Manage multiple projects from concept to execution while overseeing complex processes and system interdependencies and providing status updates to all stakeholders throughout the life cycle.
• Guide a cross-functional team through the Design Thinking and / or Agile processes, from ideation to implementation.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure ongoing alignment on project goals.
• Build and maintain relationships within the business as well as 3rd party vendors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Establish clear goals, plans, and timelines, galvanizing the team towards achieving project milestones.
• Ensure high-quality results by employing the best practices in project management, software and / or product development.
• Provide risk and resource management by anticipating bottlenecks, prioritizing projects, highlighting tradeoffs, balancing business needs versus technical constraints, and escalating decisions to managers as needed.
• Serve as a change agent by considering strategic objectives, evaluating customer impacts, and assisting with feasibility analysis on potential future projects and emerging technologies.
• Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Job Location :

This is an on-site role that requires in-office presence. This role can report to an office in Waterloo, IN, Swansea, SC, or Portland, TN, depending on the candidate's preferred location / proximity. This is not a remote position.
