Note : This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our clients Overland Park, KS office.
Note : The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 2+ years of civil litigation defense experience (medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability, or wrongful death preferred).
Note : Our client is open to both full-time and contract paralegals, with strong potential for a contract role to convert to a permanent position. Hours are 8-5 or 9-6 with an hour lunch.

Job Description
- Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys handling litigation defense matters
- Manage case files from start to finish, including organization, deadlines, and billing
- Review and analyze medical records and other evidence
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of regulations, case law, and depositions
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness coordination
- Maintain direct communication with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as calendaring and document filing
Qualifications
