Description :

This role is for a registered nurse in the rehabilitation specialty.

The position is located in a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital.

The focus is on the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injury or illness.

Rehabilitation programs offer ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to individual patient needs.

Patients typically include those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation.

The unit consists of a specific number of beds with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 7 patients, 1 LPN to 10 patients, and 1 tech to 12 patients.

Required equipment includes an EKG machine, bladder scanner, and electronic health record system.

The patient population is aged 18 years and older.

Critical thinking skills are essential for this position.

The minimum educational requirement is an Associate Degree in Nursing.
