Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least one year of experience and a current SC or Multi State Compact license for a hospital-based rehab setting.
Responsibilities
Position is based in a hospital setting with both inpatient and outpatient rehab unitsOutpatient and possible inpatient physical therapy duties requiredWork schedule is day shift, 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pmNo required weekends or on-call shifts, but holiday coverage may be neededPotential for floating within scope to like units or sister facilitiesEpic EMR is used; prior experience with Epic preferredPewter-colored scrubs requiredFree parking providedResponsibilities include providing direct patient care, developing therapy plans, and documenting in EpicMay be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)All required onboarding modules must be completed prior to start; expect an average of 4 hours for modulesHoliday shifts may be assigned based on facility needsReturn to former employees policies applyFirst-time travelers are not accepted for this assignmentAll requested time off must be declared at the time of application; approval is based on facility needRequirements
Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Physical Therapist in outpatient and / or inpatient settingsCurrent SC or Multi State Compact Physical Therapist license required if applicableBLS certification (American Heart Association only)Must live at least 60 miles from the facility; local candidates not acceptedMust provide Social Security Number and valid Driver’s License for considerationPrevious staff—including PRN—must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a travelerEpic EMR experience is preferredBenefits
