Embedded Software Engineer - (Secret Clearance)

Overview

The Aeronautics Sensor Fusion team is looking for a Radar Mode Development Engineer / Sensor Fusion Algorithm Developer with a background in sensor mode and algorithm development to support current development efforts. The successful applicant will be responsible for the development of new radar modes that enhance aircraft-based sensor fusion capabilities. This position will contribute to software requirements, algorithms, mode design, reviews, and test of operational flight programs respective to radar-based sensor fusion algorithms. The applicant will be a software developer responsible for embedded software definition, design, development and integration to support real-time embedded avionics software projects. The applicant will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and integrating software. Develop, analyze, integrate, and test embedded software for the Fusion team. Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.

Basic Qualifications :

• Required Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and MATLAB
• Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience — (Windows & Linux)
• Experience with developing sensor modes and algorithms
• Standard teaming : Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams
• Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture, and integration & test
• Active Secret Clearance
