Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care, you will :

Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions such as arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-surgical recovery

Monitor cardiac telemetry, vital signs, and patient response to medications and interventions

Administer medications, IV therapy, and assist in cardiac procedures as needed

Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement care plans

Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications

Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

Follow all hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines

Qualifications

Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license accepted)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

At least 1 year of experience in cardiac care, telemetry, or progressive care unit preferred

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
