Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care, you will :

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions such as arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-surgical recovery
  • Monitor cardiac telemetry, vital signs, and patient response to medications and interventions
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and assist in cardiac procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Follow all hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines
  • Qualifications

  • Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license accepted)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in cardiac care, telemetry, or progressive care unit preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
