As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter security-related incidents and supports a welcoming environment. You will monitor access, respond to inquiries, and assist with security-related matters, all while embodying Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Sat : 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sun : 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with building management, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Operate security-related equipment such as access control systems, visitor management systems, and communication devices to support front desk operations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
