Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant II :

Cash Management : Process cash sweeps between money market and operating accounts for all properties as needed throughout the month.

Daily Balancing : Reconcile cash accounts to bank records and Yardi software to ensure accuracy and precision.

Timely Financial Information : Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, reporting, product costing, and analysis to support sound business decision-making.

Monthly Closing : Take charge of the timely monthly closing process, maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

Financial Functions : Assist in performing various financial functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting.

Fixed Assets : Support the management of fixed assets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant II :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or higher : Possess a degree in accounting or related field to provide a strong foundation for the role.

5+ Years of Full Cycle Accounting Experience : Demonstrated experience in various accounting functions, showcasing your expertise and familiarity with accounting processes.

Advanced Excel Skills : Proficiency in Excel is essential, enabling you to analyze data effectively and drive informed decisions.

Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify financial process improvements and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
