Insurance Customer Service Representative

Under limited supervision, performs customer service by responding to telephone, written, and face to face communications from individual and small business internal and external customers regarding general insurance inquiries. Conducts research using the agency management system and carrier websites. Adheres to department procedures and guides to ensure accurate responses and customer satisfaction. Some degree of travel may be necessary.

Education and Experience :

• Associate degree and 3-year relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Property & Casualty Broker's license and / or Life, Accident, and Health license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
