Responsibilities Work in an acute care radiology unit performing X-ray and CT imaging studies Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department cases Average workload is approximately 100 exams per day First shift schedule from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with one weekend per month and some holiday coverage required Department uses Cerner EMR and Merge-PACS for documentation and image management Equipment includes GE, Phillips, Carestream, and Siemens radiology systems No IV starts or on-call duties are required Radiologist support is available in-house Primary responsibilities include performing general X-ray and CT procedures according to established protocols Ensure patient safety and provide clear instructions throughout imaging procedures Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring all safety standards are met Department-specific orientation is provided Scrubs are supplied and the dress code is ciel blue tops with black bottoms Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Registered with ARRT and current BLS certification required Illinois state licensure required if applicable Minimum of 2 years recent experience in general imaging and CT Familiarity with Merge-PACS, Cerner / HIS, and RIS systems preferred Ability to float between inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings as needed Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-613905.
