Position : Cook / Dietary Aide

Shift : Float between four skilled nursing facilities listed below

Pay : $20.00 / HR

Locations :

  • Puget Sound Care , 4001 Capital Mall Drive SW, Olympia, WA 98502
  • Fir Lane Care , 2430 N. 13th St., Shelton, WA 98584
  • North Auburn Care , 2830 I Street NE, Auburn, WA 98002
  • Three Rivers Care , 1305 Alexander St., Centralia, WA 98531

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Prepares meals, desserts and snacks in accordance with the posted menu schedule; makes sure that all special diets and dietary concerns are followed
  • Serves meals that are palatable and presentable
  • Responsible for keeping work area clean, organized, sanitized, may include washing pots and pans, etc.
  • Knows health code requirements for food and beverage storage and hot / cold holding temperatures and maintains documentation

    • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Must be interested in geriatrics, be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Knowledgeable and experience in dietary techniques and procedures

    Compensation for roles at Puget Sound Care varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by state and local law, Puget Sound Care provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Puget Sound Care expects to pay for roles they may be hired in Washington, as stated below :
