We are looking for a strategic and dynamic leader to join our team and help shape the future of media strategy for our clients.

Position Overview : We’re looking for a proactive and innovative Associate Director, Search to take the lead on paid search for a large retail client with complex and performance-driven needs. This role is hands-on—you’ll live inside Google Ads, manage campaigns end to end, and be the go-to person for insights and optimizations. You’ll partner closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-impact search strategies that connect media, commerce, and measurement. This person should be plugged in with Google, fluent in GA4, comfortable with shopper marketing, and motivated by data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own paid search strategy and execution across Google Ads, Bing, Amazon Ads, and Walmart Connect, with emphasis on Shopping and Performance Max campaigns
  • Use GA4 and analytics tools to uncover insights, optimize performance, and present clear, data-backed recommendations
  • Stay up to date with platform trends and test new features to keep clients competitive
  • Serve as a trusted partner to clients, translating performance data into actionable strategies
  • Support new business efforts with POVs and integrated search strategies
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and help build scalable processes
  • Collaborate with Planning, Analytics, Creative, and Commerce teams to align search with broader marketing goals

What You Bring

  • 6–8+ years in paid search with strong e-commerce or retail experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Merchant Center, SA360, and GA4
  • Hands-on experience with Shopping campaigns, Smart Bidding, and Performance Max
  • Ability to manage feed recommendations and write compelling search ad copy
  • Proven ability to translate data into performance insights and client strategy
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience coaching junior team members a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
