Position Summary : As a Sales Representative at Precision Epigenomics, you will be responsible for promoting and selling cancer screening and diagnostic solutions to healthcare providers. This role requires a combination of enthusiasm, disciplined sales skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in driving adoption of life-changing technologies that help detect cancer earlier to improve clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote and Sell Products

  • Educate healthcare professionals on the clinical and economic benefits of Precision Epigenomics’ cancer screening and diagnostic solutions.
  • Effectively position products such as EPISEEK® and other epigenomic assays in a competitive marketplace.

2. Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, and decision-makers.
  • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to drive adoption and long-term value.
  • 3. Strategic Account Planning

  • Develop and execute territory and account plans that align with business objectives.
  • Monitor performance and adjust strategies to exceed sales targets.
  • 4. Internal Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales operations, medical affairs, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies.
  • 5. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on high-potential accounts and under-served markets.
  • Leverage market and competitor insights to shape growth strategies.
  • 6. Market Insight

  • Stay informed on local healthcare dynamics, emerging trends, and patient access challenges.
  • Use insights to influence product positioning and sales approaches.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science field such as biology, molecular biology, genetics, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare solutions.
  • Previous experience in an inside sales or lead generation role, particularly within the biotech, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry, is a significant advantage.
  • A strong interest in and ability to quickly learn complex scientific concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with scientific and medical professionals.
  • A tenacious and results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding goals.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and standard office software.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
