Central Sterile Tech - Operating Room

Overview

Provides the facility with services in the areas of supply processing and distribution. Sterile processing has five major areas : Decontamination, processing (inspection, assembly and packaging), Sterilizing, Sterile Storage, and distribution.

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Certification, and / or Licensure :

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of Sterile Processing Certification within 18 months of hire.

Specialty Accreditation Requirements
