This Forbes 5-Star, AAA 5-Diamond hotel has 170 rooms, 6,300 square feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes an elevated Mediterranean restaurant, a rooftop restaurant, lobby lounge, and in-room dining.

In this role you will be overseeing our newly re-concepted Italian Steakhouse, managing a Food & Beverage Manager, and team of 25-30 front of house team members, reporting to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

We are seeking a seasoned restaurant leader with a minimum of five years of progressive management experience, ideally in fine dining, Italian cuisine, or steakhouse settings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and overseeing multi-million-dollar operations. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, is essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a guest-centric mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Familiarity with Italian culture and cuisine is preferred, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Experience in luxury hotels and unionized environments is a plus.

As a Restaurant General Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering the activities and services of a designated restaurant(s) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

Operations Management : Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional food quality, service excellence, and guest satisfaction consistent with the brand's Italian steakhouse identity. Manage front and back of house teams to maintain smooth, efficient, and profitable operations.

Team Leadership & Development : Recruit, hire, train, and mentor restaurant staff. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to develop talent.

Financial Management : Develop and manage budgets, monitor key performance indicators, control costs, and maximize profitability without compromising quality. Implement cost control measures in labor, food, and beverage.

Guest Experience : Ensure a superior guest experience by upholding hospitality standards, promptly addressing guest feedback, and leading by example in service delivery. Create memorable dining experiences that reflect the warmth and authenticity of Italian hospitality.

Marketing & Brand Management : Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute local promotions, special events, and marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty.

Compliance & Safety : Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor laws. Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all team members adhere to standards and policies.

Innovation & Menu Development : Work closely with the Chef to support menu innovation, seasonal offerings, and quality improvements that celebrate Italian cuisine and premium steaks.
