Post Doctoral Researcher, Nanoelectronics and Microelectronics

Overview

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) is looking for a Post Doctoral Researcher for its Nanoelectronics and Microelectronics program.

Candidates with a strong background in materials, semiconductor physics, and devices, especially with relevant material growth experience in molecular beam epitaxy or metalorganic chemical vapor deposition, and semiconductor device fabrication will be given priority.

Candidates who are interested in one or more research areas will be considered :

• High-frequency electronic devices : heterojunction bipolar transistors, high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs)
• Low-power devices : novel transistors (tunneling field-effect transistors, and III-V metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors)
• Light-emitting devices and high-speed detectors : light-emitting diodes, laser diodes, photodetectors, etc.
• Neuromorphic computing : neuron devices and circuits for computation
