Itasca, IL | Precision CNC Machine Shop | Competitive Pay + Benefits

Tech-Max Machine is a precision CNC machine shop with a brand-new, state-of-the-art technical center in Itasca, Illinois . We are seeking skilled Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operators and Hexagon Polyworks Arm Operators to perform accurate dimensional inspections on complex, large machined components.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate CMMs and Hexagon Polyworks Arms to inspect machined parts.
  • Perform both visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications .
  • Generate and maintain detailed inspection reports .
  • Collaborate with Production Managers and Engineering to resolve inspection issues.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for all inspection activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in a metrology or inspection environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading .
  • Experience with Calypso Zeiss and / or Polyworks software .
  • Ability to use a full range of hand tools and measuring instruments .
  • Familiarity with ISO and AS9100 Quality Management Systems .
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks, and 3D modeling a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. Person or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
