On Tuesday, October 14th and Wednesday, October 15th from 1pm-5pm we are holding an open call for Golden Ratio, a sustainably focused cocktail opening up on Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Golden Ratio is the newest business from Redwood Hospitality - the group behind Oxalis, Place des Fêtes, Laurel Bakery, and Cafe Mado. A Brooklyn hospitality group whose mission is to provide every guest that walks through our doors with an exceptional experience driven by a strong sense of hospitality, community, and passion for accessibility. Golden Ratio is a single‑room cocktail bar with multiple energy zones : a welcoming lounge at the entrance, a central bar, cozy banquettes / booths, and a lively standing area. We balance design, genuine hospitality, and craft cocktails, creating a place where guests and staff feel the rhythm of great service. Offering a rotating list of zero-waste cocktails with distillates made from foraged and greenmarket ingredients served alongside vegetable-forward snacks. Golden Ratio is located at 216.5 Greene Ave in Clinton Hill, BK on the corner of Greene Ave and Grand Ave.

Hourly roles we are hiring for are :
Management :
We are looking for a General Manager with a strong beverage background. 2+ years management in a cocktail‑focused bar or restaurant (NYC / Brooklyn or comparable competitive market strongly preferred). Proven background as a head bartender, bar manager, or equivalent in top‑tier programs.
Strength in cocktail creation, inventory / ordering, and COGS management. Salary range is $85k-92k, plus health, vision, and dental insurance.
We are also hiring a Sous Chef who will report to our Culinary Director. Responsibilities will include, overseeing and ensuring a smooth and professional service, exemplifying, managing, and maintaining a positive and respectful culture for the team, maintaining kitchen equipment, high standards of cleanliness and organization at all times, above and beyond DOH guidelines. Someone who has experience with sourcing and ordering highest quality ingredients, and developing and teaching recipes and techniques. Salary range is $72k-$80k, plus health, vision, and dental insurance.
