Sterile Processing Trainer

Join our dedicated team as a Sterile Processing Trainer in the Clinical Education department. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop and enhance the skills of Sterile Processing Technicians, playing a vital role in our healthcare system. You will work nights at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion located in Aurora, CO.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with department leaders and staff to identify and assess the learning needs and competencies of Sterile Processing staff.
• Design, coordinate, and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires.
• Continuously assess and document the progress of new employees during orientation, providing remediation when necessary.
• Develop and maintain ongoing educational resources and competencies for Sterile Processing staff.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
