Overview
The Kansas Lottery seeks a qualified attorney to provide legal services and advice to the Executive Director and Kansas Lottery staff on all legal matters arising in the course of the lottery's operation, including enforcement of criminal and civil provisions of the Kansas Lottery Act. This role involves drafting rules and regulations, requests for proposals and contracts, proposed legislation, and assisting in presenting proposed legislation to the state legislature. The attorney reviews state and federal legislation affecting the lottery.
Responsibilities

Reviews state and federal legislation affecting the lottery.
Qualifications
Licensing & Certification :
Membership in good standing with the Bar of the Supreme Court of Kansas or eligible for admission on waiver. Valid Driver's License.
Minimum Qualifications :
At least two (2) years post-J.D. experience
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience advising executive decision-makers on legal topics
