Performs basic to advanced production work in the assembly and delivery of consoles, including onsite installations, inventory management, cost estimating, and process improvement. Responsibilities increase with level progression
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble components per BOM and approved production drawings.
- Process raw components using hand tools or applicable equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly shop floor and tools.
- Deliver components to the next process based on routing.
- Ensure safety standards are met; report any safety / security issues.
- Keep safety gear ready and available.
- Pull and stage parts per project BOM; report material issues.
- Receive, inspect, and process deliveries in accounting software.
- Label and store inventory properly.
- Communicate with supervisor on part status and quality concerns.
- Meet production expectations and quality standards.
- Participate in onsite installations.
- Document and photograph production / fabrication / installation process.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, 1-3 months related experience or equivalent combination.Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Language skills in Spanish are an asset.Must apply for and receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential, TWIC card.Must be able to pass drug tests and participate in required random programs that are conducted via a third party per client guidelines / regulations.Microsoft Office and ERP experience preferred.Physical Demands
