Job Title : Junior Data Analyst

Location : Wisconsin, United States. Candidates must be located and able to work within the Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Standard Time (CST) zones.

Position Type : W2 Contract

Eligibility : We are only able to consider candidates who are Green Card Holders, US Citizens, H4 EAD, or GC EAD at this time. We are unable to sponsor visas.

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team on a W2 contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL, data visualization, and statistical analysis, and will thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Write efficient and complex SQL queries to manipulate and retrieve data from relational databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Perform root cause analysis to explain business performance fluctuations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the analysis process.

Qualifications :

  • Must be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or hold a valid H4 EAD / GC EAD. (This is a mandatory requirement for this W2 contract position).
  • Must be physically located in the United States within the EST or CST time zones.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a Data Analyst role.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with analysis in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS (Redshift, S3), Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), or Azure.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
