Retail Technology Project Manager (Chanhassen)

A growing technology solutions provider is seeking a Project Manager to lead hardware deployment initiatives for major retail clients. This role involves managing end-to-end project execution, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors, and ensuring successful delivery of technology installations such as POS systems, self-checkout units, mobile devices, and digital signage.

Ideal candidates will have experience managing projects involving third-party crews, technicians, or installers-especially in industries like construction, telecom, or retail technology. Familiarity with retail hardware or POS systems is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead full-cycle project management including planning, execution, budgeting, and reporting.
• Draft and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) and client-facing documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet project goals.
• Facilitate project kickoff meetings and maintain communication with stakeholders throughout.
• Monitor project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Oversee project documentation, process development, and procedural compliance.
• Manage monthly invoicing and financial tracking for assigned projects.
• Conduct post-project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Fill in on active projects to support team members and ensure continuity.
• Travel locally (5-10%) with occasional national travel.

Location : Chanhassen, MN (100% in-office) | Type : Contract-to-hire or direct hire (permanent role) | Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm | Compensation : $65,000-$85,000 annually
