Compensation :   $36,000 per year + tip pool

Schedule :   Full-time, weekends as necessary

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in leading daily operations, supervising team members, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. This role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to uphold

sneakybird’s   standards of quality and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead and motivate team members, providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining service standards and handling guest concerns promptly.
• Support food quality and safety standards, including adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies.
• Oversee cash handling and POS transactions with accuracy and accountability.
• Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Assist in scheduling staff to balance labor costs with business needs.
• Step into leadership roles in the absence of the General Manager.

Qualifications

Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in food service or hospitality preferred.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends as necessary.
