• Specialty Backup Available : Multidisciplinary cardiac and surgical team
• Support Staff Available : Inpatient APPs (intermittent), outpatient NP support, RN, MA, and customer service representatives
• Reason for Coverage : Supplemental locum coverage at least once per month PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Licenses : Active Florida medical license
• Certifications : BC / BE by the ABIM in Advanced Heart Failure / Transplant
• Experience : Completion of an ACGME-accredited heart failure fellowship; more than 5 years post-fellowship preferred
• Other Qualifications : Proficient in management of mechanical support devices, including Impella and ECMO; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; eager to work in a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced heart failure in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Round on the inpatient AHF service and manage ambulatory heart failure patients
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate advanced cardiac care
• Refer heart transplant candidates to partnered regional centers
• Support management of mechanical circulatory support devices as part of an integrated program
