  • Location : Wilson, NC 27893 – Small-town charm, historic sites, and easy access to Raleigh and coastal North Carolina\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (6 ORs)\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position\n
  • Start Date : November 10, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 9, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 8 or 10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, with on-call requirements\n
  • Weekly Hours : 40 guaranteed\n
  • On-Call : 1 day per week and every 3rd weekend\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 1\n
  • Electronic Health Record : Meditech\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1930 - $2070\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible to practice in North Carolina\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience (2+ years preferred)\n
  • Experience as a circulating nurse in the OR required\n
  • Ability to work both 8x5 and 4x10 shifts as needed\n
  • Meditech EHR experience preferred\n
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills\n
  • Scrubbing experience on surgical cases is a plus\n

    • \n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Serve as a circulating nurse in a busy operating room, supporting a range of surgical specialties : Orthopedic, General Surgery, Laparoscopy, Urology, GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatric Dentistry, and more\n
  • Assist with common surgical procedures including abdominal, GYN, laparoscopic, fracture repair, total joints, bladder, prostate, cataracts, and others\n
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all surgical procedures\n
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team\n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech\n
  • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled\n
  • Adhere to hospital policies, dress code (blue scrubs provided), and maintain a professional demeanor\n
