Our client, a leading MEP consulting firm with multiple locations in Texas, is seeking a Licensed Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in electrical building design , strong Revit skills, and a passion for innovative and efficient design solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across commercial, healthcare, institutional, and mixed-use sectors while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and engineer electrical systems for commercial and institutional buildings, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Utilize Revit for electrical design, coordination, and documentation.
- Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and other engineering assessments.
- Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of building systems.
- Prepare and review construction documents, technical specifications, and reports.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local municipalities to ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team development.
