Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential electrical work, with the ability to handle a variety of tasks on construction sites. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as proficiency with hand tools and power tools. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to meet safety standards and comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

• Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to perform electrical work.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues related to high voltage and low voltage.
• Conduct renovations and new construction projects while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
• Be responsible of company vehicle provided
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety regulations.
• Skills
• Proven experience as a residential electrician or commercial electrician.
• Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
• Experience with frame carpentry and maintenance person tasks is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of electrical work.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration on construction sites.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
