We are seeking a high-potential, entry-level Analyst, AI / ML with a passion for applying artificial intelligence to real-world business problems. The Analyst, AI / ML will assist in identifying and understanding business opportunities, exploring the latest AI / ML trends and offerings, and support the delivery of end-to-end solutions - from concept to benefit realization.
Job Responsibilities
- Passionate about manufacturing, with a commitment to leverage AI to improve processes and drive efficiency.
- Stay on top of cutting-edge AI / ML tools, frameworks, and applications to assist in the identification of relevant opportunities for the business.
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of AI / ML models and solutions for real-world use cases.
- Support projects from problem definition, data gathering, and modeling to deployment and monitoring.
- Document clean and efficient code for AI / ML pipelines, APIs, and integrations.
- Work closely with business teams to understand challenges and propose AI-driven solutions.
- Share knowledge through demos, presentations, and internal training to foster an AI mindset.
- Learn, ascertain applicability, and apply your knowledge to GLC with new products in the AI space.
- Ability to multi-task and succeed in a lean working environment with minimal supervision bringing in the ownership culture.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI / ML, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), or a high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.Understanding of applied AI concepts (supervised / unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, generative AI, etc.).Proficiency in general-purpose programming languages (Python preferred; familiarity with Java, C++, or JavaScript is a plus).Experience with AI / ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Hugging Face.Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.Self-driven, curious, and able to learn new tools quickly.Automate data refreshes and ensure real-time or near-real-time availability for AI / ML initiatives.Strong intuition for understanding datasets and skillfully chooses visualizations that best convey the story behind the data.Proficient in MSSQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Education and Experience
0-2 years of relevant experience.Internships at organizations where you displayed real work AI knowledge and capabilities.Academic projects, or personal projects applying AI to solve real-world problems.Exposure to cloud AI platforms (eg Azure, AWS).Exposure to ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Shop Floor (Aveva, Rockwell) systems.Familiarity with modern development workflows (Git, CI / CD).Working Conditions
Occasional exposure to industrial operations including : temperature extremes from approximately 35°F to 100°F; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
Work is performed in an office setting.
