Assistant Account Manager – Commercial Lines (Real Estate)
Location : Hewlett, NY
Compensation : Up to $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
Schedule : Full-time, in-office during training (60–90 days). Hybrid option (3 days in office / 2 remote) available thereafter.
About the Opportunity
Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a well-established retail insurance agency in Hewlett, New York to identify an Assistant Account Manager – Commercial Lines . This individual will support a senior account manager on a high-profile book of large commercial real estate accounts , including clients with premiums exceeding $10M and hundreds of locations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial lines professional with Applied EPIC expertise and prior exposure to large real estate accounts in a retail insurance agency setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue and manage Certificates of Insurance for a certificate-heavy real estate book of business.
- Handle endorsement requests, loss run requests, and policy checking with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support invoicing, billing, and premium tracking within Applied EPIC.
- Process recommendations and maintain accurate account documentation.
- Collaborate with the senior account manager to deliver consistent, high-quality service to clients.
- Use Excel and other Microsoft tools for account reporting and tracking.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial lines experience within a retail insurance agency (required).Proven experience servicing real estate accounts of significant size and complexity.Applied EPIC proficiency (required).Strong technical knowledge of commercial P&C coverages.Excellent organizational skills, accountability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.Compensation & Benefits
