Graduate Nurse Bronson South Haven Up to $10k Sign on Bonus

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), and in alignment with organizational policies, unit guidelines, and the Nurse Practice Act, the Graduate Nurse follows the professional nurse core orientation pathway. They assist in managing patient care throughout the hospital stay to support quality outcomes and timely discharge.

Using the nursing process— assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation —the Graduate Nurse :

• Coordinates care with other healthcare professionals
• Delegates appropriate tasks to Patient Care Assistants and Universal Support Assistants
• Provides select physical care within the scope of professional nursing, based on patient acuity and care needs
• Documents and communicates patient responses, resource use, and anticipated needs during each shift

All direct patient care must be delivered with competencies appropriate to the population served
