  • Pharmacy Technician Overview :

    The Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of patient prescriptions. This position involves managing pharmacy workstations and daily tasks, including packaging, labeling, receiving, and staging medications for distribution. The technician ensures compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all workflows. The role also requires coordination with supervisors and delivery drivers to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and patient satisfaction. Strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to quality service are essential to succeed in this position.

    Job Duties :

  • Fill patient prescriptions at designated workstations, including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, cycle fill, and machine packaging
  • Prepare medications by measuring, mixing, counting, and labeling according to prescription orders
  • Receive product deliveries, scan medications into the system, pull and stage products for distribution, and rotate stock
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Partner with the supervisor to manage workflow and optimize pharmacy operations
  • Perform physical inventories and scan manifests into the system to confirm deliveries

  • Must hold a valid OH Pharmacy Technician or Trainee License in good standing
  • Must be able to work Monday – Sunday, 10 : 00 AM – 6 : 30 PM (five days 8-hour shifts or four days 10-hour shifts)
