General Laborer

As a General Laborer, you will wear personal protective equipment and work alongside a partner to run titanium sheets through a chemical bath.

Responsibilities :

  • Measure and label test strips for processing.
  • Mark and label sheets for shear tests.
  • Identify and mark defects.
  • Calculate proper etch rates / removals per customer specifications.
  • Pull and maneuver titanium sheets through the pickle tank.
  • Load and unload skids with a forklift from tables.
  • Safely fill a new acid tank with hydrofluoric acid and / or nitric acid.

Essential Skills :

  • General production or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in machine operating is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as tape measure, grinder, and molding machine.
  • Mechanical skills, including grinding, deburring, and extrusion.
  • Experience in saw operation, finishing, shearing, assembly, and industrial painting.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or working in industrial or outdoor settings.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
  • Ability to keep up with the pace of production.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Basic math skills for calculations.

    Work Environment :

    This role operates in a warehouse and production environment that is not climate-controlled, meaning it can get very hot. You will work in a team-oriented setting where everyone collaborates to achieve common goals. Once fully trained, employees are not micromanaged, and not every day is scheduled down to the minute. Shifts rotate between 6AM-6PM and 6PM-6AM. Required PPE is provided and includes metatarsal shoes, safety glasses, a hazmat suit, hearing protection, a hard hat, and chemical-resistant metatarsal boots.

    Job Type & Location :

    This is a contract to hire position based out of Washington, Missouri.

    Pay and Benefits :

    The pay range for this position is $20.96 / hr.
