Anthos|Home is an innovative nonprofit transforming the way New York City residents with housing subsidies locate and secure stable housing. Modeled after Brilliant Corners in California, Anthos|Home streamlines the apartment search, approval, and move-in processes while addressing gaps in the NYC voucher housing system. We aim to be a game-changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness.

The Role

The Operations Specialist Applications and Submissions reports to the Applications and Submissions Supervisor and plays a critical role in preparing, reviewing, and submitting participant profiles, rental applications, and housing voucher packages. The Specialist will work closely with internal departments, landlords, brokers, government agencies, and service providers to support accurate, timely submissions and high-quality participant experiences.

This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to compliance and confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is an organized, adaptable problem-solver who thrives on supporting housing outcomes through consistent process execution and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and quality-assure participant profiles and housing voucher applications in accordance with agency and internal requirements
• Coordinate with brokers, property owners and internal teams to facilitate submissions, matches and move-ins (within 30 days)
• Maintain and update confidential tenant and landlord records across systems; ensure data integrity within Salesforce and other platforms
• Serve as subject matter expert on application, matching and lease-agreement processes
• Respond to general inquiries; collaborate with partners to streamline workflows
• Coordinate with the Tenant Coordination and Housing Operations teams to streamline packets, schedule inspections, and resolve issues
• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports to track application and voucher submission workflows
• Deliver excellent, confidential customer service
• Perform other duties as assigned
