Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator supports the Oklahoma Water Resources Board’s Financial Assistance Division (FAD) in developing and executing strategic communications that promote the Division’s programs, services, and community impact. As part of a collaborative marketing team, the coordinator plays an essential role in content creation, outreach, and campaign execution to raise awareness of water infrastructure funding opportunities across Oklahoma. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, detail-oriented, and passionate about public service, with the ability to manage multiple projects and contribute creative ideas in a mission-driven environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge and abilities include understanding methods of organization and management; public administration; agency policies and procedures; grant or contract program requirements; the legislative process; basic research and statistical techniques; and federal and state laws and regulations relating to administration of assigned programs. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; communicate effectively in writing and orally; develop training programs; exercise good judgment in analyzing situations and making decisions; and organize and present facts and opinions.
Education and Experience
Level II : A bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional experience in business or public administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of technical administrative experience for each year of the required bachelor's degree. One year of technical administrative experience may also be substituted for one year only of the required experience. Technical administrative experience includes highly complex clerical work under direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager.
