• Join our surgical services nursing leadership team and help shape the future of patient care through strategic planning, team development, and operational excellence.\n
• Nurse Manager opportunity in Ambulatory Surgery at the Outpatient Surgery Center in Livonia on the Schoolcraft campus.\n
• The Registered Nurse Manager position will facilitate the day-to-day operations, lead, develop and represent the department in the service line initiatives. The registered professional is also accountable for the management of patient care during a designated time frame. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members.\n\nMINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n
• Education : BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).\n
• Licensure : Current Michigan License.\n
• Certification : Current BLS.\n
• Training and Experience : \n
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.\n
• Two or more years of Management and Surgical Services experience.\n
• Ambulatory Surgery experience preferred\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n
• Contribute to the development and execution of nursing strategic plans, change initiatives, and departmental decision-making.\n
• Lead efforts to ensure high-quality, safe patient care through effective staffing, associate development, and performance management.\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage budgets, optimize resources, and support capital planning.\n
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators including patient satisfaction, associate engagement, clinical outcomes, and workplace safety.\n
• Champion shared leadership, succession planning, and a culture of coaching, retention, and professional growth.\n
• Support the integration of healthcare technology and data systems that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.\n
