Summary
Assist the Enrollment Officer in coordinating, managing and auditing all college enrollment services to include registration, admissions and audit for compliance of state reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform one or more of the various tasks required in processing a student's application for admissions, registration, data entry, tuition calculation, on-line orientation WEB enrollment, etc.
Serve as a resource in providing general information over the phone and in person to students, faculty, staff and community.
Collect all enrollment information (i.e., official roll sheets, transcripts, milestones, term activate, etc.)
Enter and verify scoring assessment (i.e., TASP status, ACT, SAT, CLEP, etc.)
Enter application, enrollment information; also, verify fee payment and tuition calculation through SPIN.
Troubleshoot and monitor the electronic lab.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and / or abilities required.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred.
Experience : One (1) year experience in admissions or registration in an academic setting of higher education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Good written and oral communication skills Ability to alphabetize Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with a diverse population Must demonstrate patience and tolerance in dealing with student problems Keen attentiveness to detail Demonstrate computer literacy skills in PeopleSoft, Windows, Excel, Word, etc.
