Senior Cloud Security Engineer (Consultant)
Location : Hybrid – 3 days remote, 2 days onsite in Columbia, South Carolina (local candidates preferred; relocation from GA / NC considered at own expense)
Duration : 12 months (with possible extension)
Interview Process : 1 virtual round
Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure large-scale cloud infrastructure and applications. This is a hands-on engineering role (not development) requiring deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and Palo Alto firewalls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years in Information Security & Engineering
- 5+ years with firewalls in AWS and Azure
- 5+ years with Palo Alto firewalls (VM-series in cloud)
- Strong cloud security design, operations, and automation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- AWS or Azure certification (required)
