Day, 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 AM – 03 : 00 PM)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join the inpatient rehab team at a 379-bed short-term acute care facility and Level II Trauma Center in Lubbock, TX. This position is focused on acute care patients and includes rotating weekend coverage with the full-time therapy staff. No floating or on-call responsibilities are required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services for a diverse acute care caseload

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care plans

Educate patients and families on therapy goals and discharge plans

Accurately document in alignment with facility and regulatory requirements

Deliver safe and effective treatments in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

Active Texas PT License

BLS Certification

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience

Strong communication and documentation skills

Additional Information

Weekend rotation required

No floating between units

No on-call required

48-hour schedules not approved

Uniform : Solid navy blue scrubs (licensed staff)

Parking : Free in any unrestricted surface lot labeled “Employee / Visitor Parking”
