Electrician

Bowhead seeks an Electrician to join our team in Dahlgren, VA in support of our NSWC Dahlgren Facilities Maintenance Support contract. The Electrician is responsible for general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings. They require advanced skills and knowledge in trades such as electrical work and will keep the Supervisor apprised of unique situations and problems encountered.

Job duties to include but are not limited too :

• Light panel work, adding and removing receptacles, outlets, verifying proper load on circuits;
• Remove, dispose of light fixtures and install new lighting fixtures.
• Experience providing estimates on electrical material cost and time to complete projects.
• Apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
