Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available within a K-12 educational setting located in Plattsmouth, NE. This role offers the opportunity to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, with flexibility regarding the specific age range served. The contract covers the full school year, starting in August, with typical work hours from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning needs and support requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and mental health support to students as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on student development and behavioral interventions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience :
Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist.Experience working with K-12 populations preferred, including knowledge of developmental stages and challenges across age groups.Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff, families, and external service providers.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Benefits and Work Environment :
