What You'll Do
Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned to, but they may include :
Plan, negotiate, and manage the procurement of goods and servicesReview and evaluate RFQs, identify cost reductions and work with suppliers and contractorsReview and revise agreementsDevelop contracts and agreements, including writing terms and conditionsPrepare clear, concise, and effective written documents and correspondenceInterpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, rules and lawsResearch alleged contract violationsIdentify and mitigate risk with contract languageAnalyze spend patterns to identify opportunities for cost savingsDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skillsEmploy excellent follow-up skillsMaterials Management (Warehouse)
Support local material management activities including material requirement planning (MRP), obsolete / surplus material management, repairs / refurbishments, and cycle countingAssist with data and Excel-based analysis to support projects related to inventory management and supply chain improvement with external suppliers and internal customersEngage with Material Analyst and Master Data to support material data enhancementSupport / expedite material purchases to minimize delivery delaysInvestigate receiving / invoicing discrepanciesAttend project related meetingsSupport corporate and site-specific projects as they relate to Materials ManagementCollaborate with the broader SCM TeamsProjects
Create and maintain Requests for Quotes for MRP replenishment itemsSupport Contract Lifecycle ManagementSupport / expedite material purchasesInvestigate receiving / invoicing discrepanciesSupport the Procure-to-Pay process for goods and servicesIdentify cost reductions and mitigate risksSupport vendor setup and contract closeout processesCollaborate with relevant parties to negotiate contractsWho You Are
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications :
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).Available to begin work in either January 2026 or May 2026.Ability to work well in a team environment.Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Excel.Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills.We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
Education
Must be enrolled in a Supply Chain, Economics, Pre-Law, Business, or related discipline Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.Working Conditions
