The Laboratory Support Specialist collects, processes, and distributes specimens submitted for testing. Job Purpose : o Responsible for collection, processing and distribution of specimens submitted for laboratory testing. o Distributes test results to requesting patient care unit, facility or physician Supports the mission, vision, and strategic goals of Methodist Health System. Your Job Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Related Work Experience and Other Skills : Two years of data entry experience, preferably in a laboratory environment, preferred One year of phlebotomy experience preferred High level of energy and motivation Ability to interact with patients and health care professionals to facilitate a high level of customer satisfaction Your Job Responsibilities :
